To get to La Digue, take a ferry from Mahé or Praslin. The ferry from Praslin takes around 15 minutes, while the trip from Mahé takes around 1.5 hour. Once you arrive, you can rent a bicycle or take a taxi to explore the island. To get a shot of the island itself, you can either position yourself on Anse Patates, or fly from a ship.
