One of the most beautiful baroque Calvaries in Europe. It is located on Scharfenberg (Sharp mount) hill, thus being visible from all sides and providing a complete view of Štiavnica’s caldera (a large crater which came about by collapsing of the walls of a volcanic crater).

Photography Tips

It would be good to have a lens of 50 mm and more. It's a super place for taking a photo of the full moon/supermoon.

Travel Information

There are several free parking here. 48°28'00.6"N 18°54'14.1"E is good if you'll decide to shoot a full moon. One more - 48°27'49.5"N 18°54'32.5"E is good to take photos like this.
