Velika Planina is an alpine plateau at an elevation of about 1,500 meters in the Steiner Alps in Slovenia.
The Marija Snezna Chapel sits on a small hill in the middle of the small shepherds' village and provides an ideal foreground for a dramatic night sky.

There are plenty of options to photograph this little chapel because you can shoot it from almost every direction. There is also a little pond nearby that you can use for a perfect reflection.

You cannot go up there by car. The next parking lot is Mačkin kot from where you need to hike or bike about 2 more kilometers uphill.
