South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands Gold Harbour, South Georgia

Gold Harbour is one of the most spectacular landing sites on South Georgia, famous for its dramatic mountain backdrop and dense wildlife. Vast colonies of king penguins crowd the black sand beaches, often alongside elephant seals and fur seals. With glaciers tumbling down from the peaks, it’s a raw and unforgettable snapshot of the subantarctic wilderness.

The landscape is pretty wild. 9-photo panoramas help a lot to get the wide landscape into the frame. Fly the drone to a position in which you have a tip of the cliffs to lead the way towards both sides.

To fly drone here, you need specific approvals. For this, I asked the permitted pilot to fly the drone in the position for me to have my imagery idea operated.
