It's a gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
When Korea was under Japapnese colonial era illegally,Japan destroyed the gate.
Korea Gov. started restore in 2006,and complete at 2010.

Travel Information

Parking at the centre of Seoul is very difficult. I recommend to get there by subway. Take line 5 and hop off at GwangHwamun station and exit n.9 will take you to the square.
