This place called the Refugio Altavista on Tenerife is perfect for starting a nightly trip up to the Pico del Teide. The view is already amazing though, making this a possible photo spot as well, especially during the night when the milky way is visible.
This region is an absolute paradise for landscape photographers and hikers in general.

Photography Tips

A tripod is definitely a must if you want to photograph the night sky. If you want to include the building and its lights as well, a multi-exposure is highly recommended for the different parts of the image.

Travel Information

The next car park is marked, and from here it takes a hike to the marked point. Allow enough time. Bring good shoes, enough water and sun protection.

If you could add some info on how much it costs to stay up there and how to get there, then it would be a perfect spot.
