Teide National Park is the area around the volcano Teide at Tenerife Island. It is a great destination for astrophotography and nightscapes as the park is protected against light pollution. There are no artificial lights above 2000 m.

Photography Tips

To shoot the milky way it is necessary to get there around the new moon. You definitively need a torch with full batteries. Otherwise, you could get lost in the dark and it will be pretty spooky.
