In the mountains of the Parque Natural de Los Alcornocales stands the Castillo de Castellar. Inside, the massive castle made of natural stone looks lovely. It's not just a castle but a fortified little town, sort of one of the white Andalusian villages hidden behind rough walls.

Getting up there requires climbing, first by vehicle up steep switchbacks, then, from the car park below the castle, on foot.
