The Montgrí Castle is a military fortification, located at the top of the Montgrí massif, a small calcareous mountain with an altitude of 315 meters. From the top of the Montgrí Castle, you can see the whole Empordà plain up to the Canigó mountain and the famous Medes Islands.
Photography Tips
The castle is very large and is on a hill, so it is preferable to take a photo with a drone as it allows you to have more perspective.

The ascent and descent must be done on foot (about 8km) to the parking area.
