Nearby there is a former leper colony, which is now a lost place. Very interesting, too.

Consider the tides when you visit. It is better to take photos at high tide. Especially when it's very windy and the waves are pounding on the rocks. Here you get great pictures with a low shutter speed.

Travelling by car is recommended. You can park directly at the lighthouse. But be careful not to disturb your composition with this ;)
