Spain Cofete, Fuerteventura

Cofete is a beach located on the southern part of Fuerteventura. It is very long and usually not very crowded, because it's not that easy to get there.

Photography Tips

Definitely stop at the viewpoint along the road. From here you can see the whole beach, which is a great experience. Also down at the beach there are some great photo opportunities like a small graveyard.

Travel Information

You can only get there by car, SUVs are recommended. Normal rental cars are not permitted to go there, because it's not a real street, just a gravel road with potholes and stones blocking your way. It also is quite a long drive since you can not speed. This was the situation end of 2014.
