Spain Illes Medes
This place is one of my favorites to photograph at sunrise. The Medes Islands, seen from the white rocks beach, create a composition that has made it one of my favorite spots in the world.
Photography Tips
The ideal time is sunrise, as the sun rises over the sea. However, at sunset the Medes Islands are usually lit up, and you can also get a great photo then. The beach is small and right next to a breakwater, so if the sea is rough, you’ll get wet!
Travel Information
The spot is just a 5-minute walk from the center of the town of L’Estartit. It’s located right on the seafront promenade, so it’s very easy to get to. Plus, there’s a parking lot just 2 minutes away from the spot.
