Spain City panoramic from the Alcazaba of Almería

This panoramic image was captured from the end of the path leading up to the Powder Tower, in the Alcazaba of Almería. It is composed of five vertical shots joined together to offer a wide view encompassing both the defensive structure of the citadel and the port and city center of Almería at sunset.

On the left, the robust Muslim architecture with its tower and walls stands out, while on the right, a stunning view of the Mediterranean, the commercial port, and the city illuminated by the artificial light of the sunset extends. This location offers a unique combination of history and urban/coastal landscape.

Recommended time: Blue hour, in the afternoon the tower is illuminated. In the morning, the Alcazaba is not illuminated, but the sun rises in the background. The photo was taken at dawn.

Equipment: Ideally, bring a tripod for panoramic views and a wide-angle or normal lens for greater detail.
Access: Take the path leading to the Powder Tower, following the ascending path just below the walls and starting from the Gate of Justice of the Alcazaba. It is recommended to visit early to explore the best angles and wait for adequate light.

Weather: Partly cloudy skies add drama to the sky without completely obscuring the landscape. These skies are common in autumn, winter, and spring.

Parking: There is a parking lot directly below the Alcazaba.
