Spain The Alcazaba monumental complex from the Gran Hotel Almeria
Panoramic view of the Alcazaba monumental complex taken from the rooftop of the Gran Hotel Almería. The Alcazaba of Almería is the largest Moorish castle in Europe and a symbol of the city.
The shot was taken during the blue hour, just ten minutes after the monument's lighting was switched on. This panoramic shot was taken with a telephoto lens to achieve the highest resolution.

Photography Tips
A tripod and a set of lenses, ranging from wide-angle to long-telephoto, are essential. This is a privileged location, with impressive panoramic views of the city in all directions. The blue hour is undoubtedly the perfect time to take photos from this spot. The entire city is transformed around the terrace when the artificial lights come on. It's advisable to arrive at least half an hour in advance to plan your photos. You'll have just 10 minutes of optimal light when the time comes.
Travel Information
The hotel's rooftop is not publicly accessible, so you'll need to request special permission. In my case, I got it because I was doing a report on the city for the Almería City Council's Municipal Tourism Company. However, they may be able to provide it if you're staying at the hotel.
