Spain Volcanic Sunset, Tenerife

During sunset, this spot gives an amazing view of several smaller volcanoes, while one stands on a volcano! The sight can be spectacular, showing the neighbour islands La Gomera and La Palma. Typically, you are above the clouds here. You can further climb the volcano to get an even more spectacular view.

Photography Tips

Good Shoes! Is't quite a climb up there from the parking lot. Filters help a lot. Sunset during summer is the most spectacular, I believe, because then the sun shines directly through the valley.

Travel Information

Parking is nearby. From there it is a walk for roughly 10 minutes. Bring good shoes, because the loose ground is slippery.
