Spain Majada Redonda Hillside Viewpoint

Hillside viewpoint on the slopes of the Majada Redonda volcanic area, overlooking the inland valleys of Cabo de Gata–Níjar with views toward Playa Los Escullos and the Mediterranean. The winding trail and volcanic terrain create strong depth and natural leading lines.

A wide-angle lens works well here to capture the depth of the valley and the winding path as a strong leading line.

Access is via a narrow, steep unpaved road. The climb becomes increasingly steep with NO space to turn around.

This is not an easy-to-reach viewpoint and is not recommended at all for larger vehicles such as campervans.

Driving the road requires experience and confidence, especially on steep inclines or when descending.

A small but powerful vehicle with good clearance is strongly advised. Avoid attempting this route in wet or windy conditions.. In wet or windy conditions the road can quickly become challenging.
