Spain Castell de Xixona
Castell de Xixona is a medieval hilltop fortress located in the municipality of Xixona in the Province of Alicante, Spain. Originally built during the Islamic period and later expanded after the Christian conquest in the 13th century, the castle formed part of a defensive network protecting the region. The surviving walls, towers, and fortifications overlook the historic town of Xixona and offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and landscape.
