Spain Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes

It is a lovely spot for sunrise. The sun rises above the Mediterranean Sea. You can include the monastery, but also take shots without the monastery over the village of El Port de la Selva and the sea.

Photography Tips

I'd say sunrise is the best time here. With a telephoto you can single out parts of the landscape at sunrise and a moderate wide-angle is good to include the monastery into the scene shot from the footpath. My photo has been shot at 24mm fullframe equi.

Travel Information

Just walk along the footpath south-east from the parking spot at chapel St. Helena de Rodes towards the monastery, you get plenty of views with and without foregrounds.
