Spain Sunrise Medes Islands

This is just a super nice spot for sunrise photography of the Medes islands in the Mediterranean Sea close to L'Estartit at the northern end of the Costa Brava.

You can really spend the morning around sunrise here and experiment with all different types of photography. You can do HDR from a tripod or you can just leave the islands under exposed and in black, you can throw an ND filter on to smooth the sea .. you can frame the whole scene through the beach bar.. you can look for nice fore grounds like driftwood.. try to get birds into the frame.. just a standard zoom like a 24-70mm is recommended

Just drive to the southern end of little touristic village of El Griells near L'Estartit and park at the end of the road, Carrer Romani, (Plateau de la Pletera) which ends at the beach and just walked down to the blue monkeys beach bar.. and park at the end of the road, which ends at the beach and just walked down to the blue monkeys beach bar
