Spain Santa Maria la Real, Olite

Santa María la Real is a Gothic Roman Catholic church located in Olite, Navarre, Spain, adjacent to the Royal Palace of Olite. Construction began in the first third of the 13th century, initially showing Cistercian influences, and continued toward a fully developed Gothic style by around 1300. The church was closely associated with the Navarrese monarchy and was used for major religious ceremonies and royal events.
