The dolmen of Lácara is a megalith that follows the model known as anta. It is the largest in Extremadura. It dates from the end of the Neolithic or the copper age (4000-3000 BC)
The dolmen, from 20 to 25 m in diameter, of which some curbs are still preserved and one side with the wide chamber, has its remains on a round hill. It consists of a circular chamber and a long and wide corridor. Of the chamber, which should have been about 5 m high, the lateral blocks, except two of them longer, only remain in their lower part, while the stone that covered them has disappeared.
Relatively intact are the corridor, a square portal and four of the five false horizontal ceilings. The back part is separated from the previous one by two lateral stones.
