Come here at low tide in autumn or spring, when there are less people on the beach.
Prefer a period in which the beach is less "sandy", as the sand may hide a great part of the rock lines.
Sunset is probably the best time of the day.

Travel Information

Come by car and use the great parking area just above the beach. Then walk about 5 minutes.

Hi, I was there last year in september. The beach was so sandy, most of the rocks were hidden. At which moment in the year do we have best chance to see much less sand ?

Hi Christian, I had the same problem on my first attempt in October 2018. As far as I know, there is always some sand but the best period for photography may be in (early) spring. The winter storms seem to wash the most part of the sand.

J'ai vu des photos prises certaines années en mai avec relativement peu de sable, donc ce doit être jouable. Mais ça dépend beaucoup des saisons et en la matière rien n'est reproductible d'une année sur l'autre. Peut-être qu'en surveillant les réseaux sociaux, tu auras une idée de l'ensablement sans te déplacer.
