Sweden Gnisvärd Fishing Base

The farmers of Gotland used to fish seasonally for a few weeks. For this small fishing bases (Fiskeläge) were built. But unlike normal fishing towns, they were only used actively for a short time. Accordingly, these Fiskeläge consist of very small buildings: gear shed with simple apartments. Gotland's largest Fiskeläge was Gnisvärd.
