On the northeastern tip of Öland lies the Trollskogen (magic forest / troll forest). Three marked hiking trails lead through this enchanting nature reserve with a lot of impressive deadwood.
Trolls may be identifieds as very old trees that have grown unusually in an unprotected location near the Baltic Sea's stone beaches.
