Sweden Klädnypan
The Clothespin is a sculpture by Turkish artist Mehmet Ali Uysal, titled “Skin 4.” The name alludes to the idea that the giant clothespin is pinching the "skin" of the Earth. The artwork stands 9 meters tall and weighs 7.5 tons. In the background, you'll find the architecturally creative buildings of the Umeå School of Architecture and the Umeå Institute of Design, adding a modern and artistic frame to your composition.
Photography Tips
The Clothespin itself is a striking sculpture, but the surrounding environment adds depth to the scene. The area is generally quite dark, which can enhance the drama of night photography. In winter, if you're lucky, it's even possible to see the northern lights right in the city.
