Iseltwald is a village and municipality on the southern shore of Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. One of the popular shooting spots for a lot of iconic movie scenes. This spot has a castle at the shore of the lake which (as far as I know) is not accessible to the public. A lot of people get down here to walk over the area.

Photography Tips

You will be on a cruise boat capturing the emerald shaded lake and the castle. Hence a hands-on setup is enough. Try framing the castle and the lake according to the rule of thirds and you will have a safe picture.

Travel Information

The spot itself is accessible by the cruise boat if you do not have a speeding boat or any other kind of boat to go there. Otherwise, you cannot capture the motive.
