Fronalpstock Switzerland

The fantastic mountain panorama is unbelievable. The Fronalpstock also offers a view of Lake Uri and Lake Lucerne. Seelisberg and the Rütli meadow, which rise up from the Tellsplatte, are at your feet, the Rigi rises like an island from the sea of the surrounding lakes.
Thank you very much for your suggested change. We will check it as soon as possible and update this spot.

Travel information

You can take the newly opened Stoosbahn (steepest railway in the world), worth a visit as a technical achievement in itself, from the valley station with a view of the great Mythen to the plateau and from there with two cable cars, just a few minutes' walk away, directly to the Fronalpstock.

Or, the sportier option, you can take the cable car from Stoos to the Klingenstock and from there take the two-hour ridge hike to Fronalpstock. Good footwear, a head for heights and a certain level of fitness are prerequisites in this case.
Thank you very much for your suggested change. We will check it as soon as possible and update this spot.
