Switzerland Üetliberg
In autumn and winter quite regularly there is a layer of fog (low stratus) above Zurich. Depending on the level it might be enough to go up to Üetliberg to be above. The panoramic view is amazing in that case.

Check the low stratus level in your weather app; The spot is on 870m, a level around 700m is perfect.

Travel Information
Take the first train from the main station (arriving just before 7), then walk to the top (10 minutes). When arriving at the view platform walk right through to the South end and walk down some steps to get better angle and uninterrupted view.
