Switzerland Klimsenhorn Chapel near Mt. Pilatus

This is a beautiful Chapel that you can photograph by hiking to it, or from the Cable car that goes from Kreins to Mt. Pilatus

Try to get one of the downhill seats on the left side as you are facing downhill. The shadows are most interesting in the afternoon.
The church is not far from the top on the gondola portion of the trip. It moves fast, so you need to be prepared. Use a circular polarizer to accent the clouds.

Take the #1 bus from station A at Bahnhofstrasse in Luzern. Exit the train at Kreins. cross the street and go around the right of the church uphill a little ways and past the school on the right. You can purchase tickets at the base. First you will take the small cable car. Get off on the second stop. Then take the gondola up to Pilatus. Sit on the left side as you face downhill. The church is near the top. I took photos going up and down. But the light was best on our way down.

Alternatively, you can take the Cog railroad train up and the cable car down.
