A few hundred meters from the actual summit there is a small restaurant/simple hotel which tends to be busy in the daytime but is very atmospheric before sunrise.

Travel Information

You can reach this place by cable car from Schwägalp or walk from several villages around Säntis (all around 4 hours, steep and exposed). If you plan to be here for sunrise it is better to stay over or be on one of the sunrise rides of the cable car (check website)
