Switzerland Jesuiten church, Lucerne [drone]

In the heart of Lucerne, you can find this beautiful church. It is located right on the banks of the Reuss River, and from the air, you can also capture the Pilatus mountain in the background.

It is best to photograph during sunrise to have the light coming from the side illuminating the scene and the mountain in the background. Also, the streets are empty, which is handy when flying a drone in an urban environment. I used the DJI mini 3 Pro, which weights below 250g and was, at the time I took the photo, legal to fly without extra permission. Please check the current state of laws when flying.

It would be best to explore Lucerne on foot since driving or parking your car is a bit tricky. Parking at the marked garage is relatively cheap for Swiss fees. It might be better to park outside the city and take the bus instead. All photogenic locations are pretty close to each other. Therefore exploring the town on foot is the best!
