Switzerland Town Hall clock tower, Lucerne [drone]

The historic town hall clock tower is a significant city mark you should visit when exploring Lucerne. Using a drone, you can capture the surrounding buildings even better.

It is best to photograph during sunrise to have the light coming from the background illuminating the scene. Also, the streets are empty, which is handy when flying a drone in an urban environment. I used the DJI mini 3 Pro, which weights below 250g and was, at the time I took the photo, legal to fly without extra permission. Please check the current state of laws when flying.

It would be best to explore Lucerne on foot since driving or parking your car is tricky. Parking at the marked garage is relatively cheap for Swiss fees. It might be better to park outside the city and take the bus instead. All photogenic locations are close to each other. Therefore exploring the town on foot is the best!
