You can´t tell exactly where to find the ibex, but by visiting the top of Pilatus and hiking the straightforward trail towards Tomlishorn, you will have a great chance to see them! The hike is easy and doable for a lot of people. Just a bit steep at the end.

Photography Tips

I used a tele-zoom lens to capture the ibex from a safe distance not to interrupt the animals and keep a reasonable and necessary distance for photos.

Travel Information

There are multiple options to get here. You could hike from the city up or take the cable car. You might want to check the Tell Pass, a ticket you can purchase to use all public transportation, ships on the lake, and cable cars in the region. Worth it to consider if you visit for a few days.
