One view onto some historic buildings of Lucerne located right at the Reuss River. Very nice to walk around and have a coffee or dinner along the water in one of the uncountable restaurants.

Photography Tips

I used a wide-angle lens for this photo and went a very low angle right above the river surface to push the reflection effect. Might want to consider a polarization filter if you want to reduce the reflection itself a bit and push colors.

Travel Information

It would be best to explore Lucerne on foot since driving or parking your car is tricky. Parking at the marked garage is relatively cheap for Swiss fees. It might be better to park outside the city and take the bus instead. All photogenic locations are close to each other. Therefore exploring the town on foot is the best!
