Switzerland Lauterbrunnen Valley
What a place to live...! It's mesmerizing to see the Lauterbrunnen valley do this disappearing act over and over. With low-hanging clouds coming and going, it's both fun and challenging to capture the valley when you see it fit. Certainly while you're getting soaked to the bone by mist and drizzle.

Travel Information
Wengen can't be reached by car. Instead, you need a solid pair of legs to make the 2 hour hike from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen. You can also take the train up to Wengen station and walk back to Lauterbrunnen from there. Along the way, there are excellent photo opportunities all around. Bring spare batteries!
Murren and Gimmelwald are awesome as well. From these villages you look down into the valley across at the mountain faces and up at the peaks...breathtaking stuff!!!
Save your energies and rent an e-bike for 50 swiss franc a day to get to multiple spots quickly. Take 2-3 days rental in Wengen and explore the paths along the hills. There are multiple spots near Wengen church down the hills towards Wengwald and up to Hunnenflue observation point.
