Switzerland Mountain Chapel, Kandersteg
To get to Lake Oeschinen in Switzerland you will take a train to the village of Kandersteg. On the hike from there either to the lake or, if you don＇t wish to hike, to the gondola, you will pass a beautiful little chapel. From the front, it is situated in such a way as to give a view of the 12,000-foot mountains surrounding Oeschinensee.
Photography Tips
The shot faces directly east. So, an early morning shot would be facing the sun. Best from mid-day to late afternoon.
Travel Information
From Spiez, take the train to Kandersteg (I don't know if the city is directly accessible by car). From the train station, follow the signs to the trail for the gondola up to Lake Oeschinen. It is along the trail.
