Switzerland Femme bourgeoise, Neuchâtel

The sculpture is displayed along the Quai Ostervald as part of a “Belle Epoque” trail—a tourist route through Neuchâtel's history and atmosphere of the early 20th century.
The figure stands alongside another sculpture on the lake shore and depicts typical everyday people of that time.
There seems to be no officially established name for it – it is often simply called “Femme bourgeoise” (bourgeois woman) because it represents the typical look of the bourgeoisie around 1910.
