Switzerland Mount Pilatus
Opposite the round hotel Pilatus Bellevue building there is a nice plattform at the end of a stairway, that can be reached easily within a few minutes. This spot has a nice view over Lake Lucerne.

To catch the sunrise you have to book a room in the hotel and get up long before the first daily tourists arrive with the cable car at the peak.
