The small lake, nestled in a small forest just outside Aeschi, is an excellent spot for photography. There are piers extending into the lake, a lakeside swimming area, and a restaurant along the circular walking trail around the lake, which takes about 45 minutes.
The spot is located directly next to the boat rental and is particularly well suited for boat shots like this one. However, it is possible that all the boats have already been rented out.

You can experiment with different perspectives and shutter speeds here. It is also recommended to bring a telephoto lens. With longer shutter speeds, you can capture the calm surface of the lake without distracting elements such as swimmers, ducks or rowing boats.

You can easily get there by car. The marked parking area is free of charge, but there is a donation box for voluntary contributions. From there, it takes around 20 minutes to walk to the boat rental.

There is also a parking area directly at the boat rental. However, this is only free for customers of the boat rental, so a small parking fee applies for everyone else.
