This is a stroll along the quays by Lake Geneva, which is very popular with the locals in Lausanne. During the summer, the shipping company operates historic paddle steamers. It's well worth a look. With the mountains in the background, you can get some real postcard-perfect views.

Travel Information

There is a paid car park under Place de la Navigation in Ouchy, but the easiest way is still to get there by public transport. Simply get off at the Ouchy-Olympique stop. From there, a short 5-minute walk along the lakeside will take you straight to the spot.
