Switzerland See-Panorama Seedorf

A small park with play areas for children. Located right by the lake, it offers incredible views towards the canton of Schwyz and Lake Uri. The stunning mountain panorama, the lake, and the moment itself are something you simply have to experience.

On this beautiful evening, I used a long exposure to create a calm, silky effect on the water. I used both a polarizing filter and an ND filter to achieve the desired result.

I deliberately placed the driftwood in the composition as a leading line, guiding the viewer’s eye through the image. It was important to preserve detail in both the sky and the darker areas, avoiding blown highlights and underexposed shadows so that the full dynamic range of the scene could shine through.

After all, when it comes to the perfect photo, timing is everything.

The easiest way to get there is by car. The marked parking area is paid, but it is located directly by the lake. From there, you can simply walk across the meadow to reach the lakeshore.

There is also a small jetty extending into the lake, which offers another nice spot to enjoy the scenery or take photos.

There were no other people around when I visited in the evening. However, I assume that the location can get quite busy on warm summer days.
