Switzerland San Salvatore

There are two good reasons to get up to the San Salvatore:
- you have a splendid view over the southern part of the "Lago di Lugano" incl. Melide and "Swiss Miniature"
- a relatively easy and beautiful hike down to Morcote (from where you can take the ship back to Lugano)

No special tips or techniques required. Maybe bring an ultrawide lens to capture the whole scenery.

Travel Information

There are a few parking spots available at the lower terminus of the cable car, but if you happen to be in/near Lugano anyway it's far easier to take the bus to "Paradiso Geretta", from there it's only a short walk to the station.
