"Most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2016" - More than 30'000 users voted for Morcote to be the most beautiful village and what can i say, they're absolute right!

Located at the southern end of the San Salvatore, Morcote mostly consists of lovely acardes, filled with small shops and dozens of restaurants.

Travel Information

There are several ways to get to Morcote:
- there is an easy and beautiful hike down from the San Salvatore
- by bus from Lugano
- by ship from Lugano (obviously the preferable method :) )
