Arusha is a great place to stay before you start your safari adventure or hiking trip to Mount Meru, the second highest mountain in Tanzania. From town you have a great view on the mountain from several streets. Especially sunsets are very nice.

Photography Tips

Go in a more quiet district where you don't have so many houses in the foreground and a clear view. Wait until sunset. It is the best option for nice pictures. Sometimes your hotel offers great views from higher levels.

Travel Information

Parking is always available in your accommodation. Just ask your driver about a spot to go, if you are unsure where to shoot the peak. He can manage to bring you to a good place.
