Photography Tips

Come as early as possible to shoot in good light. Would prefer a lens like a 24-70mm. Ask your driver to stop. Then you can reduce the shutter speed instead of having a fast one during your drive.

Travel Information

Park open at 6am. Be there in time. Otherwise you will miss the best light in the morning. It is a long drive from the first gate until you reach the top and further on the second gate to drive into the crater.
