Thailand Lighthouse Bali Hai

Lighthouse near downtown Pattaya is seldom visited and offers some nice views. It used to be lit up at night, but has been dormant since the Covid shutdowns. Perhaps the light show will return when the tourists come back.

Photography Tips

Wide angle lens and a tripod highly recommended. The angle here isn't really great for the actual sunset, but the best color in the sky comes about 30 minutes later, so be patient. For light trails of passing cars, I found 6 to 8 second exposures to work well.

Travel Information

Limited parking for cars along the roadside, more available for motorcycles on opposite side of lighthouse.
