Photography Tips

Light is best and crowd smallest in the morning. I believe the temple opens at 6am. Super-wide angle to get the whole statue, zoom lens for closeups of people by the fingers. Also visit the "hell garden" and "glass temple" on the same grounds...

Travel Information

It's about two hours from Bangkok. Plenty of parking, not many hotels that are easy to book or find in the area. Dress respectfully. FYI there is more than one Wat Muang in the area and more than one Ang Thong, so be sure you're headed for the one north of Ayuttaya.
