Thailand Jim Thompson House and Museum

Jim Thompson established the Thai Silk Company Ltd in 1948. Thompson, who was a US WW II veteran, was also a major collector of Southeast Asian Art. This compound in Bangkok contains both a museum with his collection along with a house he had built. Thompson disappeared while on a trip to Malaysia in 1967.
