Turkey (Türkiye) Artemis Tapınağı, Sardis
The Temple of Artemis at Sardis (Artemis Tapınağı) is a monumental ancient sanctuary located in the ruins of Sardis, the former capital of the Kingdom of Lydia in western Anatolia. Constructed primarily during the Hellenistic period and later modified under Roman rule, the temple was dedicated to Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and fertility. It ranks among the largest Ionic temples of antiquity, notable for its massive columns and grand scale, although it remained unfinished.
