United Kingdom The Dark Hedges (Road)
These amazing trees are over 200 years old and can be found in the north of Ireland. This place is without a doubt one of the most popular spots for photography in this region. Sometimes you can get wonderful beams of light through the trees or get that foggy morning shot. The trees form an atmospheric tunnel which has been used as a location in HBO's popular television series Game of Thrones. This is the one of the reasons why the avenue has become a tourist attraction.
Photography Tips
A telelens is recommended for spots like this because it visually moves the trees closer together, making the street and the trees around it appear denser than they are. Get early to get dark mystic shots or wait for the rising sun to create interesting contrasts between the branches.
